CCGHR and the University Advisory Council (UAC) is pleased to invite you to take part in a series of round table sessions to strengthen capacity and confidence to discuss critical global health issues, from an equity perspective, with others — including students, colleagues, family, community, or elected officials.
Hosted by the UAC Co-Chairs, Katrina Plamondon and Susan Elliott, leaders in the global health research community will engage in a 90-minute dialogue with participants about a core global health issue from an equity perspective. In addition to questions and discussion prompts being provided, small group discussions will allow all participants an opportunity to be part of the conversation. The panel portion of the dialogue will be recorded and made available following the session, along with a written summary of questions.
The next session, entitled “Promoting equity in global health teaching and learning: Leveraging insights from the Covid-19 pandemic interruption”, will be held on May 12th from 12:00pm – 1:30pm EDT.
