We are pleased to announce that the 5th Annual CCGHR Student Global Health Forum will be held Saturday, March 10 at McMaster University. Organized by our CCGHR student chapters from Waterloo, Brock, York and McMaster, the forum will have a number of unique speakers and workshops, a simulation event, as well as an art exhibit.
This year’s theme is ‘Research to Reality‘ focusing on how to move towards meaningful change by leveraging research, advocacy, policy and education to tackle global health issues. Students will gain practical learning experiences in our interactive and skill-based workshops or our global health simulation. They will also be able to network with renowned global health researchers and advocates!
This year, we will also be incorporating art-based approaches to global health concepts as an opportunity to feel more connected to the many global health challenges our world faces today. We will be seeking interested individuals who wish to showcase their research or art projects related to global health at our conference (sign up details coming soon).
REGISTER NOW (Only $5 for CCGHR members!)
FINANCIAL SUPPORT: For the first time this year, the CCGHR is launching a travel bursary initiative to allow more of our members to attend the forum!
