What is Capacity Development?

When applicable, these funding sources have been separated into Grants and Capacity Development. Capacity development (or capacity building) involves activities or endeavors that increase knowledge and skills in a particular area. In this Road Map, Capacity Development funding opportunities generally consist of opportunities that will contribute to academic activities or provide volunteer or employment experience in areas related to global health research.
