Description:
The Ottawa ACADRE seed funding program promotes nationally-relevant Aboriginal health research, and supports pilot projects or the preparation of larger grant proposals.
Eligibility:
- preference will be given to Aboriginal health subjects of national relevance
- preference will be given to projects addressing the priorities of the five national organizations:
- Health services access
- Youth, particularly mental health and suicide
- Children’s health issues
- Violence against Aboriginal women
- Traditional healing
- Aboriginal diabetes
- Climate change and health
Specific focus on global health research?
The focus of this program is on Aboriginal health.
Application Process:
You are required to submit a proposal of a maximum of five pages, outlining how the program criteria will be met (see Seed funding information page), accompanied by an implementation timeline and a detailed budget (not exceeding $50,000).
