Description:
The Ottawa ACADRE Fellowships program is intended to provide financial support
to researchers enrolled in a Master’s or doctoral program.
Eligibility:
- priority will be given to Aboriginal students, and an Aboriginal partnership is required for non-Aboriginal students
- your thesis proposal on Aboriginal health must be approved by an academic committee
- preference will be given to Aboriginal health subjects that have national relevance

The focus of this program is on Aboriginal health.
Application Process:
You must complete and submit a CIHR Doctoral Research Awards Application
Package (see Links), consisting of:
- a one page summary of your proposed project
- the CIHR CV module
- the CIHR training module
- CIHR’s sponsors’ reports
- official academic transcripts
**Important: this application package should be submitted to the Ottawa ACADRE not CIHR.
