Description:
The Ottawa ACADRE Fellowships program is intended to provide financial support to researchers enrolled in a Master’s or doctoral program.

Eligibility:

• priority will be given to Aboriginal students, and an Aboriginal partnership is required for non-Aboriginal students
• your thesis proposal on Aboriginal health must be approved by an academic committee
• preference will be given to Aboriginal health subjects that have national relevance

Specific focus on global health research?
The focus of this program is on Aboriginal health.

Application Process:
You must complete and submit a CIHR Doctoral Research Awards Application Package (see Links), consisting of:

• a one page summary of your proposed project
• the CIHR CV module
• the CIHR training module
• CIHR’s sponsors’ reports
• official academic transcripts

**Important: this application package should be submitted to the Ottawa ACADRE not CIHR.
