This is a scholarship for a graduate student in northern biology. It is valued
at $5000.
Eligibility:
You must be enrolled in a graduate program related to northern biology. The
selection committee looks for northern relevance and an emphasis on field-oriented
research.
Specific focus on global health research?
The focus is northern biology, but can certainly include Indigenous health
research.
Application Process:

You are asked to submit an application package to the AINA to the address
below, which should include:
- a description (2-3 pages) of your research, including hypothesis, relevance, area and type of study, methodology and plan for evaluation of findings
- letters of reference from three professors
- your CV and transcripts
- a list of research funding you’re currently receiving
